A real natural product

The stirring spoon was made from local cherry wood and then oiled. Cherry wood develops its characteristic reddish color through the oiling process – this makes the distinctive grain stand out even more. This grain is individual to each spoon and may therefore differ from our illustration.

The eye-catcher among spoons

The classic shape with an oval ladle and flat handle makes the spoon functional and allows it to sit well in the hand. A real eye-catcher is the branding of our Petromax logo.

Care tip

Wood is a natural material and can crack under extreme conditions. For this reason you should not leave the Petromax spoon in water for a long time, but clean it thoroughly with warm water and scouring powder. Then place it on edge and let it air dry.

To enjoy your Petromax wooden spoon for a long time, please note the following: When the oiling wears off from use and cleaning, you can rub the spoon with hot, tasteless vegetable oil or kerosene oil (paraffinum (per)liquidum). Let it soak in overnight and rub off excess oil. You can repeat this treatment regularly.
